As individuals we will:
- Listen to each other
- Make sure our neighbours are secure as well as ourselves
- Report crime. Be a witness. Speak Out.
- Learn about & share resources in the community
- Ask for help and accept help when we need it
- Create opportunities to build community
- Be a role model/Lead by example
We would like to see more opportunities for the whole community to become involved in creating safety through initiatives such as
- Outdoor events and celebrations in the evening
- Community walks in the evenings and on the weekends
- More Men’s resources/groups/places to belong
- Encourage people to get involved with Safety programs such as North End Ambassadors
- Provide healthy incentives to engage youth in community activities
- Educational colouring books that kids can do something creative with once completed
- Garden Commons to fill up vacant land and the sides of vacant buildings in the North End so nobody has to go hungry, and people can take pride providing their own meals
Love,
The Bell Tower Family
